One thing to note is that they tend to secure a driver closer to your actual dates, so having a flexible window for pickup and drop-off is important. It’s not their fault, though, this is just the nature of the industry, where they often wait for a driver to be assigned to the route, which can make scheduling a bit unpredictable. That said, they were punctual and showed up exactly when they said they would for both the pickup and drop-off of the car. The driver was nice and professional. No complaints here!! Thank you!

Can I put personal items?

Passengers are permitted to bring personal belongings weighing up to 100 pounds in a suitably sized box or single piece of luggage. The dimensions of the luggage must be such that it can be accommodated within the trunk of the vehicle.

Is my vehicle insured during transport?

Your vehicle is protected by the carrier’s cargo insurance during shipping. This coverage ensures that your vehicle is insured against physical damage or loss while in the carrier’s possession. In addition to the carrier’s cargo insurance, we offer contingent cargo insurance that provides up to $250,000 in protection. This insurance acts as a safety net in case the trucker’s policy does not fully cover a valid claim.

When is the vehicle going to be picked-up?

After an order is placed, the company searches its car carrier network to find a trucker to transport the vehicle. They assign the best available trucker and provide an estimated pickup time. The trucker will then call the customer to confirm the details ahead of schedule.

When will my vehicle be delivered?

When you place an order, you will receive an estimated transit time for your shipment. This will give you a window for when your car will be delivered. Transit times depend on moving distance. With each delivery being unique, it is possible that your car would be delivered faster.Customers who have specific questions or concerns about delivery times can reach out to Onyx Auto Transport’s customer service representatives. The team is available to provide personalized updates on the status of shipments and assist with any additional queries.
